I hope this summer is off to a great start for you and your loved ones.
If you’re anything like me, the news and state of our world can be overwhelming. There are days I just want to turn a blind eye to the news. Ignorance is bliss, right?
As tempting as it might be, willful ignorance is not the answer.
Instead, I say we use this summer to renew our commitment to prayer and to having a deeper faith in our Lord. There is no denying the evil that has crept its way into society at almost every level. As I tell supporters nearly every day, now more than ever we must do what we can to be loving Christian witnesses to all we encounter.
But here is a much-needed reminder: We know that God is bigger than all of this. God has the power to right every wrong in His just way. But in the same sentiment, He also has the power and the authority to give us challenges and tests of faith. Always remember that He never gives us a challenge that we are not capable of overcoming with the help of His grace.
Stand firm, my friends! Though it may not seem like it all the time, the world is still filled with good people seeking to do His will (Marian Blue Wave Prayer Partners included!).
